D2 Doors don't lock and horn sounds
I dropped my car off today to get an exhaust flange replaced and an oil change and when I picked it up it was blissfully quiet and smooth. Unfortunately when I got home the fob didn't lock the doors. In the past I've made the mistake of trying to lock the car with one door open and the horn will toot but the other doors will lock. This time seemed unusual since the horn sounded but none of the doors locked. The doors will lock with thedash button and I checked all the fuses. I tried resetting the alarm by turning the key three times but no luck. I've read through the forum and it seems possible the hood sensor may have been damaged. Would that normally stop the doors from closing?
Finally, I think this is unrelated but I've had a failing driverside rear door actuator for several months and within the last couple weeks is finally bit the dust. I ordered the replacement but since I rarely use the door I haven't made a priority about it. Could that be the culprit?
Thanks for any insight! Tim

No, it was bolted, its the one between the manifold and the first pipe. They did hook up their code reader but it didn't have the correct update to read the codes. I was wondering if that might thrown off the alarm settings but it seems unlikely to me.

try resetting the locks by pressing on top of the unit ( whatchamacalit??)under the hood. It's located on the firewall , passenger's side, its black, the size of a little flashlight, beside the engine. Press the top of it. The switch is covered by a rubber booth. Often, when working on that side, it can be hit and/or pressed by mistake.
Geez I feel retarted.....In my case, describing it in french would be much easier for me, but I doubt you'd understand a word....mais oui !!!
