Went to clean the contacts on the switch that tells if the drivers door is open or not... Ended up accidentally pulling the wire out of the connector and it fell into the area behind the opening. Any idea of how to get to this opening or how to wire this switch back up?

its a bitch, as the wire is too short to begin with, I was able to get a piece of mechanics wire and form a hook on it and snag the wire that way with some needlenose pliers....I made an extension to the existing wire once I got a hold of it

 

So there's really no way to get into this opening?
