Default Driveshaft Flex Disc Question

Did all discovery 1s come from the factory with a flex disc on the rear driveshaft (where it does into the rear diff)? Mine does not have one, but rather it has another u-joint instead (which I would presume to be better/more durable). I don't believe the previous owner of the truck would have modified this, so I did some digging. I looked at numerous examples of D1s that have been sold on Bring a Trailer, and it would seem that some have flex discs and some don't. For example I found a 93' camel trophy edition (photo 173 in link below) without a flex disc and a 94' with one (can be seen in photo 127). Mine is a 98' LE and doesn't have one. yes they came with the flex disk but could be converted -
