Default Engine stand

Anybody have a recommendation for an engine stand for my disco 1 Gems motor?

Also, what bolts do I use to attach to the stand?

Thanks

Any engine stand will work.

I wouldn't use the 1000 pound capacity stand from harbor freight. It was flexed pretty badly with a 3.9 on it. My nightmare was that it would give out during the night so I could come down and find my engine dead in the morning.

Crazy, I have the harbour freight one for my Alfa Romeo and was worried it would be too small.

I guess I will look for a heavier one. Thanks for the advice.

I've carried the block through my kitchen. It's not that heavy.

I've had my all cast iron Perkins 4.203 on one of these:
750 lb. Engine Stand
Also my 3.9 v8.
That said, I've never been overly fond of it so picked up one of these for about $50 at a tool rental place going out of business auction.

It flexed a ton and just made me a bit uncomfortable. It flexed even worse under the 302's weight. I ended up welding a brace in.
