So more weirdness, needed to use a trailer today, no turn sig at plug, used a plug in testor and left it sit key on, t/s on and after 5 minutes it starts blinking??? Did the other t/s and same thing now they work ????

It was like the truck had to relearn which makesnjo sense on this old?

If you'll excuse the J word, my Grand Cherokee and ons side flashing fast and it was caused by corrosion and bad contact in one of the rear signal/brake lamps. Cleaned the lamp contacts and it was back to normal flashing.

OK this is just stupid, when I use a turn signal with or without trailer on the little trailer light on dash no longer comes on, I have no turn signals at trailer plug unless I hit the brake pedal ????

Is my trailer adapter shot or something wrong in the rover????

Well guess the draw tite harness adapter died? Put in the factory one I got from u pull , everything on trailer works now, still no little green trailer light above turn signal indicator on gauges

Tom, I had a similae situation on my 95....I have come to the conclusion that the "MFU" is the culprit on the no trailer indicator, I have everything hooked up factory like, all lights working, no trailer indicator.....had mfu troubles with it before, no intermittent wipers, no rear wiper.....just livin' without the indicator

No offense, but to use any other as an analogy for problems with a Land Rover is a mistake. Grand Cherokee and Land Rovers are totally different electrical systems and can't be compared to one another.
