see LAND ROVER PARTS - HARNESS - SIDE MARKER LAMP DEFENDER 95MY> & DISCOVERY I

While Rovers North has high prices, that extra profit allows them to have nice on-line exploded diagrams.

You might inquire with a dismantler (parts guy) about a pre-owned one, not sure if they sell it without the lens.

Wire is wire, I always just use a good quality, usually slightly larger guage to replace any questionable looking wire. The wiring harhesses in our Discovery are not very well made in my experience, So I try to improve what is there when I do encounter an electrical problem.

I say wait until one of the guys here who has replaced this part responds. I would be afraid to screw up the airbag if it were me.

I just need to remove the shroud, but the bottom 2 screws are stripped. I just giggled with wire the the tail lights worked and the dash lights. I'll have to figure out the screws but it kinda works for now.

it sucks it gets dark so soon up here, the disco doesnt fit in garage

Took me a while to get used to the darkness up here, too (grew up in California). On the flip side, the summer days last a lot longer than many places!

My Disco fits in the garage, but my wife insists on occupying it with her car and of course there is the project car that isn't mobile, so Disco sleeps in the cold.

I insisted on a two car garage when we bought our house. Her side: her car with various gardeney things in front of it. My side: my Disco, with my non-mobile 15+ year project car parked sideways in front of it.
