finally had a chance to put the OME stuff on....
figured everyone likes to look at pictures...
and i thought id throw in a few shots of the before/after height.
didnt get any pictures of the truck outside on the ground afterwards, but you can use your imagination
i think the rear springs were likely a bit saggy. but to be sure the old suspension was definitely soft. i like the ride now, a bit stiffer but nice.
shocks were the 60037 and 60039 and the springs are 2751 and 2762. tires are 235/70/16 as well, in case anyone wants to compare heights... OME advertised 2" lift, and it appears to be exactly as advertised
i also opted for the lowered rear mounts "while i was in there". the droop seems to be significantly better with the new setup as well (though i didnt measure, but we did have to raise it on the lift a few inches to get the tires back on after installing the new stuff). the longer brake lines probably werent as necessary on the fronts, but were pretty much mandatory IMO on the rears after seeing it at full droop they were basically acting as limiting straps hah
i guess the hunt begins for a decent set of used 235/85s! hah
anyway, onto the pictures. enjoy

youre right of course, i figured i was close enough haha
yes, thats my shop. ill try to get a snap of the whole truck now from further back... there is a difference but its certainly not huge.
no cut bumpers or ghetto grills yet... im waiting to finish up some other projects and i might spring for an ARB bumper, but its really pretty low on the list. before any of that though ill be replacing these tires, as theyve got some cuts in the sidewalls and will probably need changing after this ski season.
next up is a set of gauges - oil temp/oil pres/coolant - and a tstat change, probably in a week or so if i can find time.
