Front end flex limitations
I've been thinking a lot and trying to see the theory behind different off road suspension setups, and its pretty obvious that the rear of a D1 will flex more than ths front. My understanding is that is a function of the radius arm design vs links/A arm rear. Assuming no sway bars front or rear, is it the rear bushings of the radius arms that become the limiting factor, or the front ones at the attachment point to the axle all working against each other?
Its gar down the list but if I get that far I think now that factory design rear and a 3 link with panhard front and coilovers with my own custom made upper mounts front and custom upper and lower rear would be the ultimate setup, but for now this is all just for a theoretical and hypothetical discussion.
