I will wait until next month to buy more parts....which is next week.......
That is why us rover owners are either extreamly rich............ OR we have another car to drive while we wait to save up the cash to pay for our rovers!!! I know the feeling. Least its soon.

At least spring for $2 gasket for WP, then you can inspect it. x2 on the bolts, once cover is off might be able to PB blaster them when cover is horizontal.

While removing the steering box, I happened to notice a small pool of coolant behind the waterpump (WP). I thought it was the WP or the thermostat housing/hose. But from looking closer, it looks to be coming from the right side of the engine cover, where it meets the block. It looks to be a small hole that coolant is running out of.

Did it turn out to be a hole or not?

Dunno yet. I am still working on the steering box. At this time, I am just being proactive to prep for this job. You cant really tell by the picture, but it is still moist in that area where the block meets the cover...by this time, it should have been dry like the WP and the thermo-housing.

Every week and weekend seem to pull my attention in other directions. Just last week I was in Florida, then back to work. This weekend, I am part of my cousin's wedding....then next weekend....going to try to get out a family party....

I REALLY WANT TO GET SHEIT DONE!!!!....
