Default fuel, spark or air? help please!

Having issues on my 96 disco. *Wondering if yall can give me some help? Truck runs*smooth*at idle and when given some throttle, runs smooth through first gear and as soon as i shift into second, it bogs down. At first I thought*coilpack, so I replaced the entire $400 rail. I had a new alternator so I put that on and I'm still having the same issue. Truck sounds/acts like its not getting enough fuel or spark. Fuel pump or filter?*high side relay for fuel pump? Mechanic*tested the MAF and said it was all over the place, maybe its that? Whrn running, if I unplug the MAF, the motor bogs down for a second then goes back to normal. Any help would be awesome! !__________________

Stop throwing so many parts at it.

Buy a can of CRC made-for-MAF sensors, and spray it when the engine is cold and you have not turned the key for over six hours. A small spot inside heats to 350F, and does not like cold shock.

Fuel pressure test point on rail should read 32-34 psi. Fuel filter under right rear wheel arch. Changed in memory? Ever?

Fuel pressure regulator on driver side back corner of rail - six inch vac hose, any splits?

Plug wires ever changed? Plugs?

What Savannah Buzz said... start with the simple small things

MAF cleaner worked for me, as well as replacing plugs and wires Also, throw a new air filter at it

Trucks new to me, so I'm not sure about what's been changed. Luckiky the P/O thought it was the coilpacks and gave me the whole rail of new ones! $400 I didn't have to spend and tbe new alternator was free also. I sprayed the MAF with cleaner, it ran slightly better but still same issues. Also I can hear the relay for the fuel pump when I turn the truck on, but I dont hear it switch back off. Is there a low end and high end fuse?
