gas tank problem

LOL, Just checked and found my fuel tank recall hasn't been done. I just got my rover 9 months ago (not my fault )

not big on the wait and see, I like instant fix there is no way this didn't unclog the little plastic vent line but I see why it gets blogged, it has a loop in it so gas gets in turns to varnish or whatever and clogs it just whish I had thought to disconnect the canister

yelah did you just call the dealer with your vin?

Called the dealer and mine is not affected but he said that there is a potential recall for the steering column harness and srs resulting from a class action suit still in the courts?

Just bought my 95 Disco and filled up the first time and fuel poured out from somewhere underneath! Freaked me the hell out! I will try cleaning the vents and see if my vehicle has had the recall done. Thanks for this thread!

you can pull up the rear carpet and take off the access pannel to be sure the sendor is in right also

I had the same issue. I looked underneath my 94 and next to the filler there is a smaller rubber hose that gets worn out and cracks right were it connects to a plastic fitting. I cut off the cracked rubber and tightened it up again. I also had the gas tank and fuel pump replaced 7 months ago curtousy of the recall and the tech said everything was cracked and leaking fuel.
