Default Hard to start when cold

Hey guys I recently purchased a 98 D1. Amazing truck! I have a problem developing. When the truck sits overnight it will not start right away and when it does it sputters and runs rough for about 15 seconds. Other than that it runs and drives perfectly! I have also found it starts better with a full tank. Not sure if fuel pump is electric or a fuel filter issue? Thanks for all the suggestions!

I'd suggest starting simple. Pull & clean the IVAC, and also clean the throttle body with some CRC while you are at it. Wish I would have listened to the the people on the forum & started there before throwing arbitrary parts at the issue. Ended up spending a whole lot of money on parts I really didn't need & making things much worse.

We learn from our mistakes. Once upon a time my girlfriend and I were doing a little role play and she had a paddle, I called out the wrong name. I'm a genius now, no more paddles.

X2 on the Idle Air Control Valve and Throttle Body.
