If it's an issue I'll make some visors for them...I know where you're coming from Spike, But it gets harder every day to care about the 90% who don't care back...

H4 Hi/Lo 35W 4500K on the way...I suppose if I wanted to be obnoxious I could have gotten the 55 watt ones..

If you don't ever speed you could be you your self could be a hazard , and that might not be respectful or safe. Just sayin .

This is true, however I stay in the far right lane when on the expressway.

Just because everyone else speeds does not make it right.
If everyone else stole a apple would you?
Here's one your mom asked you, if all of your friends jumped off a cliff would you jump too?

That still does not make it right.

Factory HID's are designed as a complete unit. It's not possible to retrofit HID's to a housing designed for Halogen and have them produce proper lighting.
Many people claim you can, but I've never met anyone who's actually capable of defying the laws of physics.

Equating it with speeding is nonsensical. If you're speeding and have an issue or see a hazard ahead you can slow down. What are you going to do with your HID's? Turn off your lights?
Retrofitting HID's to halogen housings is more analogous to people who drive 45mph in the left lane on multi-lane roads and refuse to move right.

If you want brighter lights rewire your headlamps so they are powered directly from the battery via a relay (and fuse) with 12ga wire. That way you have essentially zero volt drop. Volt drop contributes to dim lights.
The get a quality H4 Halogen of this type:

That's my point. No one flashes me with my HIDs, but at least one of 15 flash him... There must be something wrong.
