I have a lot of heat coming from behind the lower vents on the passenger side. its not the vents itself its some of the water hoses for the heater matrix. I can see a little bit of it and it is burning hot after 15 mins of driving. I put down some of that heat resistant foil and it didn't seem to help. I also don't remember this being a problem 6 months ago or last summer.

any ideas??

!!! is that an a/c line back there? i took off the v8/dual a/c line so now it is open on the firewall. anyone think this would cause that much heat? ill have to go look at it more right now.
