Default Water leaking into back passenger footwell on rover 200

Hi
I have just purchased a rover 200 1800petrol 5door. And after all the rain we have had at the moment i noticed a leak in my back passenger footwell. when we looked in the boot we assumed it was coming from my rear lights and running down into the footwell through the boot. Having sealed and replaced the seals in my lights i still have the problem. My roof is dry my door interiors are dry...also my front passenger footwell is as dry as a bone it is only the back footwell. their was a slight damp patch behind the drivers side but since sealing the light that has cleared up so that must have been caused from the light!!!Please could you help me!!
Thanks
