Default Water in passenger footwell: not AC, not windshield

I've got water in the passenger footwell. I cleared out the A/C drains (got out about a pint of water) and dried out the carpet/backing.

However, the following day, its wet again. No A/C use, no rainfall here.
Dried it again and the next day, the water is back again.

Any ideas what is causing it? Any suggestions on how to get the passenger carpet fully up so perhaps I can see where it is coming from?

Feel the water, is it slimy? Does it have a sweet smell? Does it have a bitter taste?

You may have fixed the cause, the drains, but not the problem. If you don't pull up the carpet and the pads, removing all the water and letting it dry out before laying them down, the water will remain and mold will grow.

Take the trim off the door wells and lift up the carpet. Put a couple of bricks under it and let it dry out. Like Mike said, if you dont let it dry underneath, it will mold.

Might have to clean the drains a little more. I had to take them off the metal tubes inside the truck and spray water down them. They were really dirty.

The coolant level does not appear low and the liquid is more 'musty' and not sweet smelling.

I put a bulk pack of Cokes on it with a towel underneath to dry things out and have left a fan under the carpet for 6-8 hours.

I guess as okdsicoguy mentions I'm going to have to take off all the footwell trim to get the carpet fully up. Currently I just have the door/floor trim off.

You are good enough on the carpet, that is what I was talking about. Just so you can get air under the carpet. This is where mt drains connect inside. A D2 may differ slightly, but same basic idea.

If you have not had any rain, it is either coolant (sweet smell) or those drains (there are 2).

Thanks. I'm going to have a go at the drains again to be sure.
