Yes, I need some tunes for my Discovery. I have removed most of the factory installed junk and just want some basic music playing capability without spending big bucks. With all the recent advances in everything these days, I would love to be able to enjoy some sounds in there other than engine and road noises.

No SAI on an early simple Discovery.

Referring back to my dropped sleeve comment, mountain goat, Ive only seen it once personally and it was on a block i pulled from a rover in a scrap yard. I have a teacher in my ASEP program who is a local rover guru/mechanic and he says this is pretty common problem but usually can go unnoticed if it doesnt drop far. But when the sleeve drops it can cause pressure issues and blow out the head gaskets on that side, which would be the first thing someone notices.

Just thought I'd throw that out there, something for you to look for, or your mechanic to look for

I have also seen some people who said they had a dropped sleeve and that pretty much is a ruined engine I think. Do a search on dropped sleeve and see.
