I bought my 1995 Discovery in early 1997 with 18,000 miles on it in NY from the original owner, and I've had it ever since. I've had it repaired a lot over the years, and it went from being my main vehicle to the "weekend" toy, as it's reliability came into question. As my health deteriorated, it eventually just sat there and the weather and time took its toll on the exterior/interior (with no garage, the years in the FL sun will wreak havoc). However, I always figured that if I got better, I would try to restore it, as kind of a "repayment" for all the years it stood by me while some other things didn't. So now that I've gotten a new lease on life, I'm going to try to give my Discovery a transplant of its own! I'm sure VT will be a more suitable climate, and certainly more challenging terrain!
