Default I got Code PO340 after scan?

I got code po340 after the scan at autozone they said my problems could possibly be the camshaft position sensor. Anyone have a link to a good price sensor or suggestions? The vehicle after it rains cuts out and runs top speed maybe 5 -10 mph, but after it dries out runs fine. Thanks for your help.

Very high dollar sensor. Perhaps you could inspect and find problem with wiring or connector that is allowing moisture in. OK to use dielectric grease in connector. See attached. Maybe even O-ring, but that's a stretch.

Seems like if it works on dry days, the sensor is OK, it is wiring, connector, or ECU getting moisture. Would hate to throw a flat screen at it and find out it was a skint wire....

THank you Savannah that is a great link.;-) Would you have a pdf how to dissemble the tail light by any chance. Thank you so much, looks like tomorrow is work on Rover day. Thanks,

If you will click on the link in my signature, you can download the entire set of shop manuals, which include workshop, body & interior, electrical troubleshooting, owner's manual and engine overhaul manual. All free.

In a D1 there are plastic plates inside the rear cargo area, remove them to access the tail light bulbs.

Savannah got the tail light issue fixed and internal lights, it turned out to be a fuse. Also found a plug wire that was off a spark plug, so getting things going a little better.;-)
