Hello fellow LR enthusiasm!
Engine light came on and whent to dealership; they found out it was the cam sensor code and they replaced the sensor. Went back to my house few minutes later got back in the Disco and started. Engine shut off right away and engine light shows up again. Went back to dealership and same code shows up. They kept the vehicle for two weeks did test and replace again the cam sensor. Got the Disco back drove it 50 miles then started again and engine light came on. Dealership told me it was the same code related to cam sensor but will need new engine wiring harness from 96 or 97 Disco, non advance EVAP Gem engine.
-Any idea how much should I expect to pay for it?

I would go back and ask them specifically what part of the harness is bad and why can't they rewires that bad wire.
Other wise, you can find wire harness at Rover salvage yards or from the dealer.
