Hey, so can anyone verify the correct orientation for the front cover gasket? Like... which side goes toward the block? (asking for a friend)

 

I'm guessing you mean which side of the gasket with the sealant goes where? You can't flip or get this wrong.... the dowel pins in the block and the shape of the gasket will only go 1 way. In most cases the sealant side of the gasket goes towards the timing cover.

 

Oh yeah. well that would definitely make sense. Good grief... long day.
