is the ignition module the same from a 95 to a 96?

the reason being is I have an opportunity to pick up a 96 disco for cheap with a pooched ignition module and I have a good leftover ignition module and coil from my 95 3.9.

Nope, the 95 uses a distributor. The 96 has an ECU and coil packs
