Default Ladder Question

Is there a difference in length between the D1 and D2 rear cargo mounted ladder?

I got one off a D2 but when I hang it from the top of the rear cargo door it seems like 1/4in-1/2 in to short. The bottom of the ladder hits the black plastic cover for the door handle. Maybe I can remove and adjust this piece but I'd rather know before I take the door all apart.

I don't know for a fact, but have been told they the ladder and the rear cargo door are the same on a D1 and D2.

Maybe try sliding the ladder on sideways from the outside over?

Good Luck.

The back doors are pretty much the same, but the handle is certainly different.

Maybe it depends on the ladder.

This one shows to be the same:

There you go again, trying to buy up every loose part around.
You probably have a stockpile of ace parts for that truck, too

It could not be hard to modify the bottom 2 feet to get your brackets in the right spot. I would think it would hardly be noticeable.

Haha! I am an *** and haven't mailed the plate. I'm sorry. I'll send it tomorrow. If you makes you feel any better I haven't touched the money. Forgot it was there. Haha.

I just went and tweaked it and mounted from the side (thank you). Took a grinder to the top of the lower bracket And tweaked the tabs on the top. Now it fits. Thanks!
