Land Rover Defender production to end - Telegraph

 

My guess..... Defender series II will take its place and once again stumble in to the us marketplace. Prolly an overpriced wagon, like the blinged out offering from Mercedes, with out as much bling.

 

Probably correct. I read another article that quoted a LR executive calling the next Defender as a "premium tool." He did say that they feel it is important to maintain utility features such as being able to hose down the interior.

We'll see I guess.
