Default 2008 Range Rover with 2012 Lights Gives Error Messages

Hi Guys,

I have 2008 Range Rover Vogue Superchraged. I upgraded front and back lights from 2008 to 2012. They all work fine but I get error messages intermitantly saying "check front light", "check side light" or "check rear fog light" I have checked and all lights work ok.

Any idea why that is?

2012 RR uses mostly LED for the turn signals, brake lights etc. 2008 has no LED lights, all good old fashioned filaments (save for the headlights). Could be that the software it uses to monitor bulbs doesn't know how to read the different bulbs that you now have. Sounds like something you'll have to deal with.
