Default 98 Discovery Lights

These are what l have for night wheeling. The Front have pairs of 9" floods center, 5" spots sides and fog lights. The overhead has 24" LED light bar (spot fronts and flood sides mix) and 5" floods sides. For the back, I have 12" LED (spot/flood mix) and a 5" spot.

I want to see your switch set up for all those lights.

Default 98 Discovery Lights Switches

Here you go...

I used the OEM drive light switch to power my front fog lights so it will turn off when the high beam is used. I used the OEM rear fog switch to power the front floods and side spot lights (output wires from the rear bumper going to the front). The PIAA switch/relay powers the overhead LED and side spots. As for the rear LED and spot, I just patched in with the reverse light circuit. I'm planning on putting toggle switch to power it independent of the reverse but just haven't gotten around to doing it.

So the two center front lights are on the OEM drive switch? They are on when the low beam headlights are on?

No, the fog lights are (amber). They are on with low beam and turns off on high.

The 2 center front lights (9" pair) and the side facing (5" pair) are on the oem fog switch (used to light up the rear bumper lights). Always on with the headlights (high or low).

And the stock charging system can handle all those extra lights?

Apparently so. I've gone out a number of times at night - ranging from 2-6 hours of continuous use of all. I have the 100 Amp alternator and the AGM battery from Autozone. Oh yeah, and a 75 watt solar panel that always charge the battery when not in use.
