D90 have vented and slotted rotors. That can be problematic if you take it off road in gravel and mud. D110's are solid rotors. Both will fit

Congrats on the new Disco! It looks just like my Rioja Red 98 that I just got back on the road after almost a decade. I'm a little jelly of your roof rack, I'd love to have one for mine. Check out Rock Auto for maintenance and brake parts for the Disco 1. They saved me a ton of dough on mine, and I got the stuff in 2 or 3 days to PEI!

These are generally easy to work on, and the forum archives on here are indispensable.

Good luck with it, and I'm happy to see another Canuck on here.

Took a pic of roof rack maker, it looks pretty well done. I have looked into the rock auto site, that's great that they ship so fast. The online vendors in Canada seem to get some awful reviews. The rover shop in Calgary is also able to ship to me. They get great reviews as well, TRS automotive , so they should know the correct parts. They did service the vehicle for a long time.
Finally able to look over vehicle a bit today. ,Pulled carpet in the back to check for rust and it looks good. There is some rust in the fender where you open the back door, and rust over the windshield that I will need to fix for sure. Hooked up the bluedrive reader to the discovery . There is an abs light on , it wasn't on when I took the vehicle into the shop, but I am sure it was there on the test drive. I will look into what that might mean, going to start pulling wheels off and checking brakes soon to see what I need to order.

ABS light on is super common on the D1's. It usually means a wheel sensor is mucked or has backed out. Tap tap is the normal remedy. Gives you a good excuse to check things out on the inboard side of the brakes where the sensor is. If that doesn't clear it, there's a link in the faq (here it is: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...s-light-34025/) for the blink code procedure. I happen to have the ABS light and an oddball code in the 3's indicating a solenoid and/or ECU issue. Sometimes it goes off. Many people simply disable the light by pulling the ABS fuse, which of course also disables the ABS. Opinions differ on whether everyone should be doing this anyway, as the implementation of ABS on these trucks does not appear to be the best.

The ABS light will not trigger a code you can read via OBD--they are separate systems in the D1's (not sure about the later ones).

I can read ABS codes from my OBD port (96 GEMS), but I have to go to my mechanic and use his fancy scanner. My cheap scanner doesn't get it. His expensive scanner can also see the pulses from each wheel sensor real time. It gets codes to tell which wheel sensor signal is faulty too.

I am in the camp that disabled ABS. I removed the fuse for the ABS pump, but the warning light is on continuously. I got nervous when the ABS activated spuriously near the edge of a cliff. I don't like being nervous, and I really wouldn't like going over the edge, or bumping into the driver in front of me.

Looks real nice. Nicer than mine!!! I didn't read all the above posts, so sorry if some of the things below have been resolved:

1) All those things you listed are common.
2) If you haven't replaced the windshield by now and still plan to do so, put in a totally clear one (no tinted top). Because seating position in these vehicles is high and you'll be looking through the tinted part most of the time (super annoying!).
3) Not a big deal re-doing all the brakes ...by now they probably need to be refreshed anyway.
4) Interiors are weak on Discos. The leather they used wasn't great and seats cracked real bad. You might consider investing some $$ and spring for some nice Katzkins or something like that (google them). Would cost some money, but it's a much higher grade of leather and you could get a more contemporary interior if you wanted. (if they make them for Discos). I'm considering something like that for mine.
5) How's the headliner?? he he
6) Buy a new lower radiator hose. Get the expensive Land Rover hose. Common Disco sad scenario: 1) lower radiator hose has a lot of age on it but "..seems" ok. 2) Owner says, "Hmmm gee wiz, lthat's an odd looking hose, hmm I should probably replace it ...but they're sooo darn much money!". 3) Hose leaks coolant onto the gravel unbeknownst to owner ...or blows driving down the road. 4) Engine quickly overheats and ruins engine. 5) Owner angry at himself for years bc he was too cheap to buy a quality hose in the first place. Moral of the story: Don't go cheap. Spend the $$ on a very important part before bad things happen.
7) Replace or cut back power steering return hose ...because they always leak and usually cutting a little off the hose and retightening can prevent a lot of oil under the engine.

Think about getting a kit with all the coolant hoses, rather than only the lower radiator hose. Change them all once and forget about it.

Atlanticbritish has hose kist as does roverparts I believe. I agree, do them all at once if you can.
