Loss of Power
I was going to post up to check and make sure you idle is at 700RPM [hard to do without gauge] because another thing I learned today is that these things can idle at 350RPMS!! Engine is SO QUIET YOU CAN TELL ITS ON and it runs REALLY cool, BUT. if you decererate from high speeds it will die.
Dont ask how I got my truck to idle at 350RPMS, no I didn't do it on purpose but I do know how to do it now and Id rather not say so that yall dont F up your trucks. Anyways. I was coasting in neutral to a redlight and had looked at my gauge and engine was off. Started it going 50MPH lol.
So a low idle will kill while decelerating sometimes and DEFINATLY gives you that hesatant feeling when accelerating if you dont gradually induce gas.

Man, stalls below 2000 rpm...I would say a bad/clogged IACV BUT when that goes bad typically it will not idle but as long as you keep the rpms above 500 it will still run.

It will run if I keep it above 1000 but still tries to bog down. I was holding it around 2000 or a little less. Am I about to get snowed on my disco here? I love her but I can't start sinking tons of money into her. Prior to this little fiasco she was idling right around the 750 mark. This all just came out of the blue.
So based on what you are saying spike and the fact that I am getting good fuel at the rail maybe I should start with the IACV. Looks like AB has them for about 170 give or take. What do you think?
Oh I will definitely shop around I was just wondering if that seems like the logical place to start, replacing the IACV. I saw another post on here that said the stall on take off is most likely the camshaft position sensor. I guess I will start with the IACV and just start replacing everything in order until she clears. It's gotta be one of them and they can all cause the symptoms. No real good way to determine which it is except to start replacing them.
If the IACV does not fix it I would stop and think, no need to start going broke unless you want to replace everything.
We have a Rover tech on here and he might have a better idea.

So I replaced the IACV today and guess what. Now my engine idles at around 2000 RPM give or take a little. So what gives? Should I also try the TPS as this seems similar to Spencer's problem with the whole high idle thing. What do ya'll think?
