Yeah, what the guy at Lucky8 said.
So if it (the ecu) is way out of wack you either need to drive it until it re-learns or have it reset.

Good news. She is fixed (I believe). Turns out it must have been either the IACV or TPS. I drove the vehicle to Cowtown Rover in Fort Worth with the TPS removed and high idle. They reset the values on the ECU and high idle is resolved. They told me to bring it back when I get the new O2's and TPS installed and they will reset it one more time to get everything lined out. They were great and didn't charge me anything until I bring it back. Just 50 bucks to get it hooked up to testbook and get everything lined out. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area. I will update this next week when the parts come in and everything gets installed. BTW ECU seems fine. Thank God for that one.

Glad the truck is running well again and this dealer is a good one.

It's actually not a dealer. They are a indie shop that has been around for about 15+ years. They have a great reputation and I have heard of them before but as I have not had a need for an indie yet I hadn't used them. Stoked to find them though.

they're 60$/ea with free shipping and all four are the same so you cant go wrong. Good luck with the rest of the project, sounds like you've stoped the bleeding.

If it does happen to come back....and I hope not...jiggle the wires going to the MAF with it running and hot. I went through this and that was what I found. Just a loose connection going to the MAF.

Any time you replace the VSS or IACV, it will have to be programmed unless they are in the exact same position as the one you took out. That is why it is imperative to not move anything while cleaning the t-body.
