Default MAF Brand Recommendations

So I gotta grab a new MAF. Any brand recommendations?
Locally I can grab a cardone at AA, duralast at AZ, NAPA’s in-house brand, all remans of course, or order up an allmakes. I’ve come to find all parts are not accepted as readily in our monsters....

I guess both. Both sets of info will be useful to narrowing it down.

Although I did put 20 years in at NAPA, I also worked auto dealerships for 20 and I still have more confidence in NAPA's Echlin brand (they do have an economy - Mileage Plus - which I do not recommend) than other options. I did have the opportunity to "destroy" or peer into a few different modules and compare, and speaking as an electronics nerd, the quality was obvious with the Echlin parts. Woops!!!!! back up - I just went to NAPA's site and saw what was available and now I see that all they have is A Cardone reman which for $150 it would probably work to keep you moving, but I've seen good and bad with their stuff. Sorry, if I got your hopes up, good luck with your choice. Russ

Half ways down the page. Recommend = RovahFarm for all your new Land Rover Parts and Accessories

If your on a tight budget contact Paul or Will for used.

Also check Fleabay, found several Lucas/Sagem ERR5595(A) for sale and cheap.

FWIW I bought a Chinese maf for my '98 a few years ago....it ran worse with that on than with a cleaned oem unit.........started harder too, I'd stick with a known reliable rover one if possible

I would get a used OEM one. I believe the brand was SAGEM. I had issues with aftermarket ones when I had my D1.

I have a good used one that came in on a running '97 LSE. It's $45 shipped and comes with a 60 day money back warranty if you're interested.
