Mass Air Flow
Might be helpful if you can describe your concerns / reasons why you think your existing MAF or aftermarket MAFs aren't good?
I've often found myself swapping out / blaming the MAF for my problems when it inevitably ends up being something else.
If you have RoverGuage you can check your MAF values and ensure they are logical given the throttle position. Otherwise if you aren't getting a check engine light from the 14CUX ECU I would generally consider any MAF as good as the next, despite forum chatter otherwise.
If you want to go with the "best" option, I would say an original lightly used LR part from a junkyard is probably best. Otherwise I have no evidence to say any aftermarket is better than another. If you go with a place like Atlantic British at least they will take returns and help with troubleshooting - although you pay for that luxury: https://www.roverparts.com/fuel-syst...kTWR3tpOAr6CH9

This does not exactly answer your question, but a 20AM MAF from the GEMs (96 -99) Discoveries can be fitted to the 14CUX. Requires some rewiring, and a resistor for the CO trim (choke). I have tested it on my '94 and it matches the 5AM MAF signal very well at various RPMs.
Like mentioned above, first choice for me is OEM from junkyards. RoverGuy.com is a good source for used parts. Looks like Lucky8LLC has new metal body replacements.
