I was at Orchard today and noticed black metal mesh. The first thing that came to mind was this post.....

I'm not sure if it is wide enough. Looked nice though...

I went with perforated metal and i got it from McNichols which is about 45 minutes from my house. Then had it powder coated.

seriously I thought it would take a good hour to complete. Im waiting for the fricken glue to dry, I got the loctite 5min stuff.. More like 5 hours.. Its still fricken wet, however places where i didn't want it to go it dried INSTANTLY... Oh and I still have no idea how you got tape to hold it down.
I know this is late but I would have used an ABS or polycarbonate u-channel and then make a frame for it and then epoxy that frame with wire mesh to the abs grill... that way your not "mating" metal wire mesh directly to grill but epoxying both plastics together.... thats what Id do...

I just started this tonight on my landrover disco 2, I will post pics tomorrow. I see that this mod is only being done on Disco 1's. I got the gutter mesh from Home Depot for under $3.00 and it seems to be the perfect size. Also, make sure you have enough cutting bits for your dremel, I went through two and had to make another trip to get a pack of 5 more.
