i have to do my D2 any minute.

ALSO, On my D1 I painted the grill and surround flat black. I also painted the plastic under the headlights flat black so I have the same "color" across the entire front. My stinger too. I think that would look great on a white rig (yeah you Jake and Blanco).

did this project today probly an hour or 2, i used an ocilating cutting tool with a wood/drywall blade and used hot glue to attatch the screen and badge looks great for under $4 for paint and screen , the exact same screen pictured by the op is available at home depot

I've been working on this project for a few days now. The previous owner made a Saudi grille by cutting up the stock grille, and then using weather stripping to make a base. He then used fiberglass to make a hardened border around the weather stripping.

I ripped off his old metal mesh because it had a hole in it, and painted the grille. The fiberglass is chipping off and looks like crap so I can only make it look so good but the current issue I have is finding the right epoxy. I've tried that dual cylinder syringe stuff and gorilla glue but none seem to work well. The syringe epoxy wouldn't dry properly, and the gorilla glue wasn't enough either. Today I'm going to run out and buy some liquid nails to see if that'll do it.

Guys, I've found the perfect sealant for the mesh. Try using liquid nails with a caulk gun. The hold is perfect- you'll never need to worry about re-gluing that mesh ever again.

The gutter guard I found at Home Depot is only 6", is that big enough, doesn't look like it.
