Today I switched out my drivers side valve cover and cleaned the entire plenum. While everything was off I noticed the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator was falling apart.Replaced it and it seems to have a little more pep!It was a good day!.

Reading your thread is like watching a time lapse video of a project. Haha. I love it. You work like I do..fix the crap before it even thinks about actually breaking. My passenger side window just did the same thing yesterday. Haha.

I found the drivers side a little easier than the passenger side.Mainly because I did not remove the heater core hoses.

Today I installed a new gas tank vent hose.No more spilling liquid gold.

Today I changed out the fan clutch.Hitting in the 90's this week and the old girl was creeping up in temperature. Now it is staying at about 185. Went with a imperial severe duty for $50 after 15% discount online at Advance auto.Much louder than the original but
at least I can see and hear that it is working.Small victory!

Today I pulled out the ignition switch because the cylinder was just spinning.I found that the side rivet pin had popped out. After rebuilding and a little lube it works like a champ.
All I needed to know I found in the d1 section.Great forum.
