Default CIP rubber lubricant

Checked with the MFG and CIP is great but for our purposes they make a similar product that is waterproof and has a higher melting point. Its called "Petro Gel". Comes in 4 oz tubes. I have some coming now, if it turns out as good as it sounds it will be a godsend for any rubber components (radiator hoses, gaskets etc.) I will let you guys know what shakes when I try it. Dach.

Default

I just smeared thin bearing grease on it and the sender figured it can dissolve in the gasoline and won't hurt the seal which was shrunk and I had to work it around the sender with a pic, pita

Hard part is you won't find the seal in a junk yard cause they pull the tanks, no tank no sender
