Do you have ability to work on it yourself?

If not I would see if someone on here can recommend a reputable shop specializing in rovers

if you read enough here you will see why not just any shop should work on it "they waste your $ hunting obvious things to a rover mech"

Do you run hot or lose coolant?

No.

It ran hot in the past but replacing the thermostat cured that problem and it hasn't run hot since..

Be sure the shop knows you overheated in the past, these are notorious for head gaskets all the more reason for a rover shop, antifreeze kills 02 sensors just to keep in mind

If installing a new exhaust system can I cut out my cats and O2 sensors if I have a 95 obd1 discovery? We only have two 02 sensors and as far as I can tell through research there would be no ill effects. Oh and no emission testing either

I have a Y pipe with the cats removed and straight pipes welded in. I can't use it as I am in CA. I'll give it to you if you pay for shipping...

Remove the o2 and the engine will never run correct again, ecm limp mode cell light on and probly 1 MPG if you are lucky till you flood the engine and kill it, IMO

You'll have to do some reading because I don't know if the NAS has the ROW maps too but by changing the tune select resistor you'll be selecting different maps/equipment. That's what the tune select resistor does, sets maps for a particular market. They run without either just fine by hard defined values rather than adaptive.
