Wife drove the RR and said the brakes where a little sloe to react. It has been parked 4 months since the PO died. She tried $6,000.00 but best they would go is $6,700.00.
Still thinking, I say go she says HOLD IT!

Sounds like both of you are in a position to do a little horse trading. Wait a few days and pay them a visit.

Take a bottle of your best bourbon and a pocket full of cash.

I would rather pay a little more for something with that level of care than any other typical deal out there.

I can tell from your list of vehicles on the chopping block that you appreciate a nice car and are aware of the associated cost involved. After all, look at what they spent maintaining it properly. I would say that is a truly rare find in today's world.

Going to speak to her Step Son again Sunday and see where we get with it. I will drive it this time and see what I see. Picture is why I did not driver it today. Busy doing a Country Music Video with Leon Everett.

George, as Vandev said on page one, My '96 RR was far more reliable (with 160k) than my '97 DI.

I don't know how the newer ones were, but I sat in mine with a computor and re-programmed my air suspension.

One of the easiest trucks I OCCASIONALLY worked on, (it was the reason I bought the DI)

As has been said, sit on it for a week, then make new offer, I'd guess in that condition, it's worth $6k

luck,greg

Bought it $6K. Pick it up Tuesday. Believe it or not the owner is sending it to have the oil changed, tires rotated and balanced and DETAILED before I get it, WOW!
Will post pictures when I get it home.
