New Disco - Big Problem
crank and cam sensors not jiving, there is no gaurentee is is the crank sensor or pickup ring I just suggest good place to start given the work you had done, I think I recall someone messing up the crank pickup just changing the starter
Here is a question though: If it is the crank position sensor, wouldn't the same issue be happening while it is in park and I push on the throttle? Perhaps not while it is just idling, but I was just driving it and it was losing power and acting like I let off the accelerator the whole time I was driving, then I put it in park and rev'd the engine up to 3k rpms and held it there with no issue whatsoever.
Still sounds like a crank position sensor? I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm just really confused by this.

Fixed the problem! Turned out to be the tabs on the sensor wheel for the Crank position sensor. A few were so bent that they were touching each other. Bent them back to where they should have been and it runs like a top with no error codes. Thank for all the help!!

Good for you! Cheers
So this problem came back. Getting misfire code and cam position sensor code again. Ordered a crank position sensor. Hopefully that fixes it. I can't afford to drop a bunch of money chasing a phantom.
If I'm understanding, it sounds like you are missing the inspection plate at the bottom of the trans.
Do you think that debris is hitting those teeth, or something from outside is messing them up?
