temporary - till it gets warm enough to use better 18 gauge and proper auto panel bonding (must be over 65 to set) I will also cut away more of the rust next time. This was some $5.00 loctite stuff from Lowes that sets in temps as low a 40 degrees - just what I needed. It is hard and locked on to the surface even after using fluid film to neutralize the rust.
The small bolts holding the mudflap bracket were spinning on top - from rust. Will need to uncover the whole floor this summer. Will shoot with self etching primer on the first day it gets above 55 Deg here If I place some 22 gauge inside and sandwich some good stuff inbetween I may let this ride till the whole fender liner is ready to be replaced.. surprised how hard this stuff set up - but it did take a while
