I had the same problem years ago and added the splice , which takes care of the rear windows. I then resoldered the board to fix the pass window. Now it started doing it again so I think this time I will add some wire to strengthen the solder joint cracking issue

jimvw57, just to reiterate I have an 2007 Land Rover LR3. I'm looking in the place others have mentioned for the ECU, however i'm not seeing it. Is there a different location for the ECU in my particular vehicle? If not, are there any specific location you can give me or pictures referencing it's location? Thanks.

I have a LR1 1997 and the ECU is behind the glove box (and a little below ) Not sure if the LR3 is the same or not. I would check the RAVE

You are in the Discovery 1 section of the forum

Question Same problem on 93 Disco but no glovebox..where's the circuit board?

My rear windows are also not working from either set of switches..I switched the working front switches over to the back and still no joy. I'd like to try to resolder the circuit board but I can't find it on my 93.

The rave manual seems to be for the 1994 and up as far as I can tell or am I wrong? There's no glovebox on my model. Anyone know if/where the window circuit board is on a 93 Disco or if there's a different fix besides bypassing? Thanks!

Jimvw57, what do you mean by "check the RAVE"? Thanks.

There are online manuals for all the land rovers called RAVE manuals. you can download the one for your truck and it will tell you everything. there are Electrical, Body and mechanical. I don't have the link for them but if you do a search you will find them.

After taking A look I found this link. I guess they don't have a complete book for the LR3 just sections
