Looks like I had 10w/30 rotella t in it, 37* this morning took 18 seconds for oil light to go out

Dad drained and put in some 5w/30 quakerstate so see how that does tommorow

We had 4* and my light was on a whole 2 seconds.......truck parked outside.

LOL....... Fish, whaaddya doin? There's no way.......

Tom, if you haven't super cleaned up top the bottom aint gonna matter. I already did my shells so I have an unfair advantage but I also cleaned all the baked snot out on the top end. I still have to do a timing chain/gearset this year (if it's still at the house) and I'll be checking the pump specs then as well.

Lol........ yeah, I'm there too but...... what's holding me back is the dang GEMS black box. No matter what you do your still tied to a fat wet map drowning the motor. (Yeah, I said it, picture it!)

Just throwing this out there and probly not doable but since I did the top end to save me from redoing the top end, what are the chances I can pull the pistons out the bottom and reinstall from the bottom? Trying to figure if I can do this with engine in and top end on

Iirc I had no ridge on the cylinders to reem

It should be doable, if you unbolt the rod caps and pull the crank separately. The hard part will be getting the tranny uncoupled.

Likely a nightmare but doable.
