Sorry, you'll be doing the water pump again. A kit of gaskets and new water pump gears is like $115 from Atlantic British. As for how, that involves having your own copy of the RAVE, the factory shop manual, it is a free download below. While it is open you'll want to evaluate your timing chain for "slop" as well.
In addition to the "fun" of removing the fan clutch, getting the crank nut off is also "fun". Some have made their own special tool, some have used a breaker bar wedged against the pavement or frame and run the starter, some have tangled up the old serpantine belt against things.
BTW, if truck that old replaced water pump, you may want to do fan clutch as well, they usually have been "together" for a long time and the "breakup" and "new best friend" cause tiny off balance vibrations that rapidly wear out the old part.
