Default oil sender leak

OK cleaned up the oil running down the filter adapter and let engine run, low and behold coming from oil sender, tightened it cleaned and checked later still leaking so before I buy a sender is there a missing gasket or something? It is leaking between the sender and engine so like from the threads

Yes there is a gasket. Are you sure it's not leaking from the top half of the sender and running along the bottom of the nut? Try some Teflon thread tape. A decent new sender is commonly available for under ten bucks.

O-ring on serpentine belt engines, washer on v-belt engines. If I recall correctly.

Looks like no more oil sender leak, looks like something leaking just above the filter in the front and running down the filter, probly have to remove filter to see it

The oil sender I used is the beck arnley , looks different from original but works fine, it came with a washer I swapped it for a green o ring as mine had a taper on the engine for the o ring

Oil sender is not leaking, removed filter I cannot see where it is leaking , keep cleaning off with brake clean and comes back after driving all I can see is it comes from above the filter, runs onto filter and drips

The oil line fitting is not leaking
