Power Seat only works with drivers door open. So peculiar.
So I just got back from going to lunch with and wouldnt you believe it, the power seats on my 1998 just all of a sudden stopped working. So I ran some "shade-tree" diagnostics and found the most peculiar set of symptoms.....
Neither seat works when the doors are closed. With the drivers side door opened, the drivers side seat works just fine. As soon as the door switch is depressed/closed, the seat completely stops working. This happens with the vehicle both on and off. I could not get the passenger seat to work at all, no matter what I tried. Both seats were working completely fine earlier in the week and all other electrical works 100% normal, except for the radio and speakers which was monkeyed up by some hacker before I owned her.

Replace fuse F6 under the dash. The driver door allows that seat to operate so larger mechanics can get in the car after the 4'8" gal with the 80 pound purse drops it off for service. This is also shown in the RAVE electrical schematic diagrams, free link below to all of it.

Here in Northern Virginia, tiny lil thangs in land Rovers are all the rage. You cant be showing up to the nail salon in a *ghasp* 4-Runner. House Moms and Trophy wives alike love to pimp 'em!
So F-6 was indeed blown and now my seats are working fine again. Aint that the darnedest thing, eeh? Thanks for the quick reply!
