Default Power steering fluid

My 97 disco has a power steering fluid Leakage I’ll figure out where it’s leaking but I can’t remember what’s the best fluid to get.

PS- How’s about on were the fluids might be leaking just to point me on the right path.

Thanks

Red power steering fluid + Lucas Transmission Fix (red and very thick).
This is from the DI maintenance section

Valvoline hi mileage ATF is what I use. Note that the steering system uses automatic transmission fluid.

Generally they leak from the seals around the drop arm. Some have had success replacing seals. Most swap out the box for a re-man or a known to be good used box.

The Lucas PS Stop Leak has worked for me on RRC/D1 PS systems over the years. Check the hose clamps at the reservoir for being loose, and if those are good it's either leaking from a line, the pump, or the box.
