When I first got mine 5 years ago, before i discovered this and a couple of other forums, I bought a CD from RN that had the RAVE on it. In my spare time, I went ahead and printed a good portion of the documents and started some binders with my trusty old three hole punch and some tabbed page dividers and some other things left over from many years of doing Quality System Documentation related work.

Since then, that CD got damaged, my older computer with most of my pics crashed, but those notebooks have helped me out a lot. And I do not have to worry about getting greasy fingerprints on a fancy new laptop.

There is a page in the electrical manual that tells where the various ground locations are by the ground number. It defines what portion of the vehicle is the 100 versus 200 versus 300 versus 400 section.

When I was an Aviation Electrician in the Navy, the aircraft I worked on had a Reference Designator for each component. They used a system that basically measured the distance from the nose of the aircraft in inches to specifically identify each component. Similar to the milage signs on the Interstate Highway System.
