So after my CV joint exploded a couple days ago on my 97 disco I decided I should reseal my swivel housing along with a new CV joint and axle shaft. I was looking for seal kits and I found one with a 8mm swivel housing seal and one with a 12mm seal, can someone please tell me what the difference is between the two?

 

Maybe ones for chrome swivels and one is for Teflon coated swivels, may need to call a parts supplier and ask them
