Question Rear lights...

The top lamp is the park and brake lamp. The second lamp is the turn indicator. The third lamp is the reverse lamp. What is the fourth lamp? Neither the left nor right bottom lamp on the rear fenders work. I found nothing in my service manual(only instructions for changing lamps).

believe it or not those are your " rear fog lights" with your headlights on there is a switch on the upper lh side of the dash..mine is under the rear window defog switch.....that turns on the extra tail lights to make you more visible in the fog/ rain/ snow

I wouldn't have known this either , except I accidentally ran across it while I was ( don't tell anyone !) reading the owners manual to de-cipher some other quirk.

I thought about doing that, but quickly came to my senses.

I recently tested mine. Only turns on the left fog light bulb. Is there supposed to be 2? I will have to check if the right one is burned out.
