Default rear main seal leak?

Went to pepboys and they said my rear main seal is leaking and it would be 1100 to fix. I can't afford that. Is there a quick fix?

They reccomended lucas oil stop leak and told me to add it all in about a month. Will this fix it or no? They said I had 4 quarts left but I waited 5k to get my oil changed since last time and I think it was convential(I got synthetic this time and will be changing every 3k)

you can try it, don't overfill your oil, just wait til it gets low and top it up with the lucas, and at your next oil change replace one quart of oil with it.
