colo, it's that board you need to solder. if you want to slide it out of there, there will be a clearly burned up joint on that board. It comes out fairly easy.

Board where? I see a control module. Do you mean take it apart and remove the guts??

You located the module, remove the plugs. You can remove the module by removing the 3 small nuts or you can slide out the board that is attached to the connector face.

Having the same problem. Mine work when they feel like it, only the rears have the problemm, fronts always work perfect. For some reason all of the switches (center console and door switches) to the rear just refuse to work at once. Fiddling with the window lock and the ones on the console sometimes gets them to work. Anyway I heard someone say "ECU", does that refer to the main ECU or so the windows have their own little ECU? Sorry to jack your thread, just figured it was pointless to have two about the same thing.

Windows have their own little ECU. RAVE download has good drawings on this.

Cool thanks for the info. We've got a pick a part place nearby that tends to have Land Rovers often so I'll try and yank one if someone doesnt beat me to it.

We also have dismantlers around here on the forum that can help with that if you come up dry at the boneyard.
